DigiStamp Boutique...Hetty

Morning you lovely lot, hope you're having a fab Easter weekend so far and that you haven't scoffed too much choccy yet! We generally don't have our eggs until Sunday but we might have to break with tradition this year and have them early as I don't think I can wait another day!

Anyhoo, here's a card I made yesterday afternoon using one of the cute elephant images from the DigiStamp Boutique...this is Hetty and she comes from the Edwin & Hetty set which can be found here in the boutique. She's a real cutie isn't she?

Good morning lovely peeps, hope you've had a good start to the week...the weather has been lovely here so far! I hope to get round and visit you all later on this evening and catch up with all your recent creations.

DigiStamp Boutique....Alf "Dad's Shed"

Afternoon me lovelies, hope you're having a good weekend so far...it's been lovely and sunny here today but I haven't been out yet as I've been taking advantage of the peace and quiet with everyone out, to do a bit of crafting.

I have to thank my lovely blogging buddy Sue over at Creations by Bearhouse for inspiring me to make a centre step card. I have seen some of these on Sue's blog and have always been quite envious that she knew how to make them. She very kindly sent me a template and hey presto...I've made my first step card...thank you Sue...you're a star!

I also totally 'borrowed' Sue's idea to use a flower border die along the bottom and also to colour in some of the flowers...a pretty cool idea which really made the die pop! I'll be giving this card to my Dad for Father's Day and I hope he'll like it!

Little Miss Muffet #82...Anything Goes

Morning, I hope you've all had a good week so far. The weather has been bitterly cold here the last couple of days and we even had a bit of sleet yesterday afternoon when I was driving home from work.

I'm sad to announce today, that this is my last creation for Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I've been on Barbara's design team for the last 12 months and I can honestly say it's been one of the friendliest, funniest design teams I've ever worked on.

It was a really difficult decision deciding to stand down, but the timing feels right for me just now and I want to thank all the Little Misses for having me on the team and for making the last year so enjoyable. You girls totally rock!

So...news of this weeks challenge which is an ANYTHING GOES theme and it would be great if you could come over and join in the fun. You can find all the details of the challenge here on the LMMS blog and you can also check out some inspirational makes from the Little Misses.

Anyhoo, I'm here to give you details of our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week we've gone all MONOCHROME!

Polka Dot Pals Faye...A Birthday Suprise

Good morning everyone,

My lovely blogging buddy and good friend Faye is celebrating her birthday today and for anyone who knows Faye or follows her blog will know that she is a bit of a glitter monster!

Barbara at Little Miss Muffet Stamps wanted to organise a secret birthday surprise for Faye as she works incredibly hard behind the scenes organising all the DT details for the Little Misses and she has created this super cute little image called Polka Dot Pals Faye...she is spraying glitter absolutely everywhere! Yep it's definitely a great likeness for Faye!

*** HaPpY BiRtHdAy FaYe ***

Surprise, surprise...bet you can't believe we all kept this one a secret from you lol!  Hope you have a wonderful day with lots of treats!

I do have to confess to having a bit of a nightmare with the stickles glitter on this card...for some reason when I applied it to the image it caused the printer ink to bleed. It was the last thing I added to the card and I was really disappointed as I couldn't undo the damage and unfortunately didn't have time to make another card.

Passion for Promarkers # 235...Shaped Cards

Good afternoon everyone, hope you're having a good week so far especially those with children on a half-term break!

It is with great shame that I'm posting my Passion for Promarkers card late today...being the blonde numpty I am, I completely got my weeks messed up and I thought I had another week to complete my card so huge apologies to my teamies on team 2...sorry to let the side down girls!

This weeks theme is SHAPED CARDS and whilst I had my Cricut machine out last week, I cut this card out onto plain white card stock and then cut the same shape on a 12x12 sheet of design paper. It was a bit tricky sticking the two together but I got there in the end and will definitely try doing this again.

We are sponsored by the Digi Stamp Boutique this week and Sally-Ann is offering a £10 gift voucher to the winner to spend in the boutique. There are some fab new releases this month including this cheeky little puppy called Stanley!

I cut this card base out over a week ago and coloured in this cheeky, little chick from the DigiStamp Boutique but I only just got round to making the card up this evening.

This little sweetie is one of 3 images in the Cute Chicklets Easter Collection and they are so adorable I know I'll be using them all for my Easter cards this year.
